Old Writings - Pt. 5

In Part 5 of "old writings" I'll share the remainder of my undergrad scribblings, the somewhat PG-13 rated ones anyway.

(as before, click images to view large)
Starting off is one that I thought I posted last time, but didn't. Brenda and I used to make fun of "alterno girls" even though that is probably what other people would have called us... of course we were the cool kind though :)
this next one was probably inspired by my first read of The Fountainhead and crushed hardcore on Howard Roark:

gold stars to those that catch the literary allusion in this next one:

Went blond the Summer of 95
See, I was a bleached blond the Summer of '95

Once 1996 rolled around I slowed down writing these little ditties. I think maybe because I was content/happy? (that means you, Stew...) Plus I started actually making it to most of my classes and doing homework, the shock! Not that there weren't any troubles, actually that summer I experienced heartbreaking loss (which I wrote an essay on and might share and talk about in the future)...

These next two, which were in the Spring '97 Ethos Magazine, reflect my change in focus:
Later in the Summer '97 I interned in NYC, again a busy/happy time... and this last one I think I wrote while in the city. It ended up in the Spring '98 Ethos Magazine (note: this was before American Beauty):

Check back for Part 6... which will probably wind up the series, ending with more current stuff.

And just because...
