Weekend Bag

Getting ready to head out for one last weekend trip to mom & dad's place... I liked how my stuff looked on the bed before I packed it, so I'm sharing.

I like to pack items that coordinate or "mix & match" if you will. Also I like the challenge / balance of limiting my choices, but still having choices... if that makes sense. For today's drive, I'm wearing the skirt/long sleeve t-shirt/vest combo on the left. Usually I'll plan on wearing a couple of things more than once. In this case it would be the jeans, and probably the black basics. However if I had to stretch it out past 2 days, or needed to change for an "occasion" I could switch the jeans out for the skirt again. I'm only doing one pair of shoes (my thrifted bad-ass boots this weekend), otherwise I wear a pair and a pack a pair (for example, were it warmer I'd have packed my navy blue sandals with this stuff).

And yes, once I got dressed, the remainder fit just perfectly into the bag.
