This Delilah didn't need to call for a servant to shave off her Samson's locks. Plus she didn't do it for money while he slept.
It was just time. Time for Stew to shed his bushwacker curls and go incognito as a "short hair" for a while.
I'd say this recent harvest was about 3 years of growth? I've taken similar before/after pictures twice before (see below), but I've probably done this cut for him at least 4 four times, I'd reckon.
It usually grows to shoulder length each time, so my guess is likely close, as we've been together 14 years.
Although we think this time it was the longest it has ever been. Damn hippie.
We ended up trimming his forked chin hair to be even with the rest of the beard, but I didn't get a picture after that.

In the following graphic visual (his idea), you can see just how "unmanned" he is now... 12" gone.
The pity!
Aw, look at him down below, fresh as a young pup, way back in 1997.
This was the first time I cut it for him. A year later I buzzed/shaved it for him.
And here he is again, image file was dated 2002.
So this might have been the post-college grow out?
Watch, be transfixed, it's an animated GIF image! oooooo
Oh wait, it's not working?
Fixed, oooooo

I am so gay for him
