100% Thrifty, except tights.
"Chadwick's" brand dress, which is a little more suburban mom than I swing,
but it was 50% off tag color plus I liked the big tropical print
and the little details like linen/cotton fabric, pockets and yokes and plackets and self-belts, oh my!
Oh well, looks like I'll have plenty of time to break out the rain boots as it is. Non snow (sadly) precipitation is predicted every day through the 25th. Just in time for the boys' first week of break. Lovely!
PS - I was able to mail two etsy packages out same day as purchase today! The last one I actually stood out by the road (not raining at the moment) and waited for the mail lady to drive back by from doing her dead end loop, because the label was printing right as she pulled up to our box, moments earlier. She nicely slowed to a stop and took it from me, so I thanked her kindly and wished her a Happy Holidays.
PPS - I've always thought it would be kind of fun to be a mail lady. Crusin' around, deliverin' the goods. Other than the ones that go postal, they always seem so chill.

This dress is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteI also get rain amnesia.
I agree that the dress is amazing. I don't see suburban housewife in it at all. I see fabulous Hawaiian beach babe just waiting to whip out the surfboard.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great dress. the soccer mom comment is somewhat lost on me. What is a soccer mom dress?
ReplyDeletei love your dress.
