Year of the Dragon Warrior Princess

2012 will be the Year of the Dragon, if you didn't know.  Of course we won't officially start breathing fire until January 23rd, but that does seem a little bit earlier than usual.  Don't you already feel a little bit magical & mythical about the new year?

I know I do.  I'm optimistic.  2012 is going to be good.  Something is going to happen.  I just know it.  Even if that something is so small, only I can see it.  Or maybe it will be BIG.  Life-shaping.  

Either way, I'm thankful for Dressember giving me an excuse to send good 'ole 2011 out with a bang.  As years go, it wasn't too bad.  And for all those who followed along with me, either these past years, or only recently, I'm thankful for you too.  

If I were having a party, you'd all be invited.  It would be a masquerade.  I'm dressing as a Warrior Princess, what are you going as?

In fact, personally, I think I might coin 2012 as the Year of the Dragon Warrior Princess.  That seems like an appropriate theme to take me on an ass-kicking path in the next year.
